The expendables

Got to the theater late and so was forced to endure this movie for 103 minutes. Was too predictable and useless for my taste.
But you have to admit some of the action scenes we're pretty cool, although I didn't enjoy the filming and the screenplay.

I've come to realise that when to many big actors star in one movie, the movie sucks.

Don't want to go one, just a NOT-To-WATCHER

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows- Part1

Wonderful movie and definitely the best of the series yet!
Though its kind of slow in the beginning and a bit too long I still enjoyed every minute of this movie ( BTW approx. 90 % of the book in it so they couldn't have made it shorter)
I personally found he Special FX perfect ( though I'm not and expert) the score by the brilliant Alexandre Desplat is dazzling since it was inspired by John Williams 's work on the previous movies of the series.
Just LOVED the small animation scene about the Deathly Hallows, and the actions scene are as always excellent.
Director David Yates couldn't have done better job/

Hope you guys enjoy this movie as much as I did because I proudly putting it in the To watch list!!

Faster

Went to the movie theater this weekend to watch Due Date, but because we where late we had no other choice than to watch this lame movie!!

Basically 95 minutes of my life that I'm never going to get back, but I mean there's nothing director George Tillman Jr could have done better with such a lame and pointless story line and a wrestler as main character
. So I think he gets and A for effort.
I mean the least you expect to get out of these movie is a cool action scene, but unfortunately that was missing too. SPOILER ALERT: " The Rock " got shot twice in the back of skull and came back form the dead twice..... like COME ON!!!
The only thing I enjoyed about this movie is the hot and sexy Oliver Jackson-Cohen
Last but not least, whats up with the name of the movie anyway. Faster Is the worst title the filmmakers could have chosen
Well I guess there's no need to say that this movie is a NOT TO WATCHer

PS: If some people even consider watching the movie The Marine - 2006 with wrestler John Cena please don't. I think its the most pointless movie I have ever watched!! -> NOT TO WATCH

Despicable me!! LIKE LIKE LIKE!!!

The cutest movie I've seen all year!! Cool original plot, great cast and characters, awesome soundtrack by Pharell Williams....... Nothing but good comments for this fun a brilliant movie

People you really got to see this, on the the top of the 2010 TO-WATCH list!!!!

Step up 3D

We all know what to expect from these movie before even starting them. The couple that always end up kissing with a great view in the background, dance competitions, rivalry, traitors, and the cheesy romantic emotional scene. Although the mediocre acting and a very predictable plot, this movie was really fun and cute. The tiny interviews about what dancing means to the dancers is the only thing that's deep and intresting about this movie. It also has and amazing soundtrack and some outrages dance moves and routines. Not to forget the gorgeous Rick Malambri and the fun Adam G. Sevani. And the very energetic and talented Daniel Cloud Campos whose shorts movie you people should really consider watching ( they're on the To- Watch list).
Step Up 3D gets a 6 out of 10 which I know is very generous but I had fun watching this movie so It gets a spot in the To-Watch list !!

Month of August Not-To-watchers!!

Did a really fun movie/food marathon with a couple of friends in August. We grabbed some popcorn, watched "Grown Ups", ate dinner, grabbed some other snacks and watched "Knight and Day".
Grown Ups: A fun movie complete with all star cast and a couple of hilarious scenes. Though its kind of cliche and a wannabe "Cheaper By The Dozen 2", this movie is kind of cute. Unfortunately Its not on my personal To-watch List, but if you want to have a couple laughs and have nothing else to see go ahead and watch it.
Knight & Day: Not-To-watch Lister, this movie is mainly a "Mr & Mrs Smith" (which is definitely fun and a To-watch Lister) wannabe. Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz, which are great actors, don't have any effectiveness in this far-fetched and ridiculous action/comedy blockbuster.

Another romantic action comedy I saw this month Is "Killers". Also a Not-To-watch movie. The lack of chemistry between Heigl and Kutcher and a really bad shift between the action the romance and the comedy makes this this movie a complete failure. Maybe the only thing I liked about this movie was the casting of Alex Borstein which I think is terrific and hilarious.

Inception!

OMG! OMG! OMG! OMG! OMG! OMG! OMG! OMG! OMG! OMG!

Inception is a true masterpiece!! Christopher Nolan is a brilliant writer and director. The plot is so original and capivating. Right after The Godfather part 2 at the forth place of the IMDB top 280 movies, Inception is an immense thriller full of wonder and suspense. And let's
not forget a great cast ( Leonardo DiCaprio, Titanic,Shutter Island, Ellen Page, Juno ....)

In a world where technology exists to enter the human mind through dream invasion, a highly skilled thief is given a final chance at redemption which involves executing his toughest job till date, Inception- IMDB.com

Most important of all, Hans Zimmer's score is soooooo good that it takes you right into that thrilling world where dreams may sometimes seam like reality.

Inception is on the top of the: to-watch list and may stay there for sometime....

Month of July re-cap.

I've been a lot to the movie theater this month.
- Salt: Been waiting a whole year for this movie to come out and it is definitely part of the to-watch list. It is most-AWESOME!!! maybe the best movie Ive seen in 2010. Angelina Jolie's performance is outstanding, the score is excellent and the writing is genius.

-Toy Story 3D: Just loved everything about it!! Loved that the cast is exactly the same (Tom Hanks, Tim Allen, Don Rickles...), they even gave the role of barbie to Jodie Benson, the little mermaid. This Pixar definitely has the magic and power of Walt Disney.
The short film preceding the movie, like every Pixar, Day and night was so brilliant and wonderful. Including music by Michael Giacchino
(my favorite composer), this short film shows the personifications of day and night that end up getting along.
Anyway
Toy Story 3D is a to-watcher.

-The Twilight Saga, Eclipse:
The best of the series so far and a big triumph after the disaster: New Moon. Surely a great treat for the twifans, the movie gets in the To-watch list. Even the soundtrack is really good (bought it last week actually) and will definetly be enjoyed by Muse lovers. As a matter of fact, the author Stephenie Meyer is the biggest Muse fan.

-The Sorcerer's Apprentice: This movie is such a not-to-watcher. Though it's not that bad, it is still majorly cliche and predictable. However Nicholas cage's performance was quite good.

I also watched a bunch of DVDs :
-Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince: Clearly not the best of the series in my opinion, still everybody has to watch all the Harry Potter movies, it is the phenomenon of the decade.
So that it why I think it part of the
to-watch list.

-Dorian Grey (2009): I personally don't find that this movie makes the to-watch list, though I can understand way people might have liked it. The reason why it makes the Not-to-watch list, is that this movie doesn't have anything special that is why I leave this only comment: it is so plain.

-13 going on 30 (2004): This is cute and funny, the plot is also fun and special. Jennifer Garner is also cute and funny in this movie and plays her role really. That is why it makes the to-watch list. However, guys and gals who generally don't enjoy romantic comedies should watch it.

And I also really eager to watch despicable me and inception which I mightbe watching tonight.

Till the next time,

The start of a journey.

Hi world and welcome to soundtracker1's: the movie list.

I've been watching lots of movies over the past several years and realized that I've grown hesitant into watching movies I have never seen. I've realized that most of the movies that are being made are either banal and cliche or simply pointless and stupid. Though I really am fund of comedies, lots of the recent movies really have no point at all and aren't even fun and dumb in a good way.

So I've come to the idea of documenting every single movie and TV show I will watch, and put each of them in one of the 2 following lists: the "to-watch" list and the "not to-watch" list, therefore helping the people who are interested to chose which movies to watch and not to watch.

I hope my first blog will be appreciated and helpful to everyone and that I can keep it going for as long as I can.
