Soul Surfer (2011

This movie tells the incredible real story of the courageous Bethany Hamilton a young championship surfer who lost her arm after a shark attack, and how she managed to keep living her life despite the accident.

This cute, impressive biographical story make its on the To-Watch list! :)

City of God (2002)

Amazing visuals is the first thing that comes to mind when I think about this movie.
This is a gangster movie set in a poor community of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil that shows the contrast between Lil Z a psychopath dealer craving for power and total control of the city's drug commerce, and Rocket who does not want anything to do with that life.

This movie is a To-Watch -er!! :)

Barry Lyndon by Stanley Kubrick

This movie tells the long tale of Redmond Berry. From the moment he falls in love with his cousin Nora, to when he escapes to Dublin, gets robbed, joins the army, deserts the army, become a great gambler, marries the noble lady Lyndon...... The Story goes on and keeps you on the edge of your seat. I personally felt that the movie and the character reminded me of Voltaire's Candide and his long journey full of adventures and misadventures.

This movie is a to-watcher

Full Metal Jacket by Stanley Kubrick

One of the best army movies I have ever seen!
This movie follows the lives of a few US Marines from their initial army training to the battlefield, during the Vietnam War.
The thing I loved most about this movie is that its not fictional, their are no heroic saves or victories, just the hard TRUTH!

Full Metal Jacket makes it on the to-watch list :)

A Clockwork Orange by Stanley Kuprick

A Mastepiece! Protagonist Alex is an "ultraviolent" youth in futuristic Britain. As with all luck, his eventually runs out and he's arrested and convicted of murder and rape. While in prison, Alex learns of an experimental program in which convicts are programed to detest violence. If he goes through the program his sentence will be reduced and he will be back on the streets sooner than expected. But Alex's ordeals are far from over once he hits the mean streets of Britain that he had a hand in creating.

This is anything but a "casual" and so its on the To-Watch list :)

Alfred Hitchcock

These are the best of the Hitchcock movies I have seen so far:

-The Birds: Watched this outdoors on riverside park in NY. One of the best feelings ever!
This thriller is amazing
-I Confess: Loved it!
-Young and Innocent: Romance, Action and Suspence! What can be better!?
-The Ring: Despite the fact that this movie has no audible dialogue, it is still AMAZING!

ALL of these movies are on the To-Watch List!! :)

The Eagle- 2011

This movie takes you on the journey of Marcus Aquilla and his slave Esca as the search for a golden eagle an important emblem to the Romans. This movie was not bad but it wasn't really special, though I highly enjoy actors Channing Tatum and Jamie Bell. I think this movie is a not-to-watcher because It really had nothing memorable.
